OUR GAZE
A project about young adults and teenagers, their relationships and love stories. Photos and videos capture people like you and me. The idea is to express the feeling of struggling to find your place in this world, especially when you’re young. Who do you love? What even is love? And who even am I?Important is to consider, that it’s not from the perspective of already grown ups, but teenagers and young adults. The movie and photos are made by people who are trying to figure it all out and for people who are doing just the same. It’s not ‘teenage gaze‘, but ‘our gaze‘.

Ein Projekt über junge Erwachsene und Teenager, ihre Beziehungen und Lovestories. Fotos und Videos fangen Menschen wie dich und mich ein. Die Idee ist, das Gefühl auszudrücken, welches man hat, wenn man darum kämpft, seinen Platz in dieser Welt zu finden, besonders wenn man jung ist. Wen liebt man? Was ist überhaupt Liebe? Und wer bin ich überhaupt? Wichtig ist, dass es nicht aus der Perspektive von bereits erwachsenen Menschen erzählt wird, sondern aus der Sicht von Teenagern und jungen Erwachsenen. Dieser Film ist von und für Menschen, die versuchen, das alles herauszufinden. Es ist nicht 'teenage-gaze', sondern 'our gaze'.
